Merge PDFs: many files into one
Bundle an application, attachments and supporting documents into a single PDF. While you merge, your files never leave your computer.
How to merge
- In the editor, open the PDF that should come first. The other PDFs are added after it.
- Press Add PDF above the page list on the left and choose the PDFs to append. You can pick several files at once.
- The added pages appear at the end of the list. If the order is wrong, drag thumbnails to move them.
- When you're done, press Download.
You can also press the Merge PDFs card on the home screen, or drop several PDFs onto the page at once. If no document is open yet, the first file is opened and the rest are added after it.
Setting the order
Files are appended in the order you choose them. To change the order later, drag pages in the page list or delete pages you don't need. Merging can be undone step by step with Ctrl+Z.
Good to know
- When you merge, annotations you've added so far (text, shapes and so on) are merged into the PDF, and undoing brings them back.
- Password-protected or damaged PDFs can't be merged. Remove the password first, then try again.
- If the merged result would be very large (about 150 MB or more), the merge stops. Merge big files a few at a time.
- Pages of different sizes can be merged; each page keeps its original size.
To save only some pages of the merged file, use Extract and split.
