What you did, what happened, and what you expected
The program that created the document (for example, MS Word, Google Docs, a scanner)

Please don't send the original PDF. It may contain personal information such as names, addresses or contract terms. Only send a file if it contains nothing sensitive and we have asked for it.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF stored on a server?

No. Your file is processed only inside your browser and is never sent to a server. Your edits disappear when you close the tab, so download the result when you are done.

The text looks slightly different after editing.

Characters that the original font doesn't contain are drawn with a similar font. Our guide How to edit text in a PDF explains how to minimize the difference.

Can I edit a scanned PDF?

Text in a scan is a picture, so it can't be edited. You can still add text, shapes and images as annotations.

I want my personal data deleted.

PdfMonster doesn't collect your PDFs. Information contained in emails you send us can be deleted on request. See the Privacy Policy for details.
